Simone Stelten will support the OECD’s Skills Strategy during the fellowship in order to find solutions to the challenge of skills shortages and mismatches in the European Union. She worked as EU adviser at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, where she coordinated the EU2020 Strategy. Most recently, she worked as the assistant to the executive at the Social Welfare Fund of the German construction industry. Simone studied European Studies at the Universities of Bremen and Essex and completed a Master of Public Policy at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin and at Duke University in the United States.
