Mehmet Fethi Tanrikulu is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.
Mehmet Fethi Tanrıkulu works as an expert for the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities in Ankara. He focuses on projects and partnerships funded by UN agencies and other international organizations that deal with access to higher education and eliminating the language barrier for Syrians under temporary protection in Turkey. He handles issues like grant processes for Turkish scholarships, project support and capacity building for NGOs. Prior to this, he was an internal auditor at Yapı Kredi Bank of Turkey. Mr Tanrıkulu is currently completing his masters degree in international relations with a thesis on ‘International Aid for the Education of Syrian Refugees in Turkey’ at Yıldırım Beyazıt University in Ankara. He received his BA in political science and international relations from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul.
