Burak Ünveren is a Bonn-based journalist, moderator and author from Istanbul. He is a multimedia editor at the Turkish Program at Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international broadcaster. He specializes in Turkish foreign and defense policy, global and European affairs and international security.
He studied political science, international relations and global affairs in Leipzig, Vienna, Berlin and Istanbul.
He is a member of the Global Diplomacy Lab as well as an alumnus of the International Parliamentary Scholarship program of German Bundestag and the Diplomacy by Networking program of German Federal Foreign Office.
