Andronike Roedel holds a Master’s degree in Middle East Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Her professional experience includes being a foreign and security policy advisor to a Member of the German Bundestag, working at an international NGO in Tajikistan and at the German Federal Ministry of Defence as well as serving as a Reserve Officer at the German Air Force Command in Berlin and the Munich Security Conference. During her fellowship, she will evaluate the implementation of the European Security and Defence policies within the Security-Development Nexus. Her work aims to identify potential steps to enhance the coherence of the current European approach, particularly in the areas of civil-military cooperation and capacity building.
